| [November, 1999] PACIFIC MOON RECORDS is a new label established just two years ago. We have released seven albums including a set of a double album. In this present album, we have participation of musicians who have already solo albums on sale or those that are about to release them, all talented artists -representative of this label. Not mentioned in the introduction of artists, is also a recording of Buddhist chanting. This was created for the purpose of meditation. The deep resounding sounds of the sutras will be soothing and calming for the heart. By recording this kind of music, we would like to show that under the label of PACIFIC MOON RECORDS, we have the intention of creating new sounds based on the cultures and tradition of Asia. This album is a great source for finding out what is so fascinating about Asian music and instruments, as well as to know what is happening with PACIFIC MOON and we are certain it will give full enjoyment to our listeners. |
